I'm Victor, a product engineer who takes things from a UX sketch to a shipped, running product, and cares as much about the product decisions as the pixels.

At Canopy, I build features end to end for PEARS, a production SNAP-Ed platform used by 191 organizations, from the UX through the Vue frontend to AWS deployment, and I publish the component libraries the whole frontend runs on. Design here used to mean Adobe XD. Now it means Claude Design, and I led that migration: rolling it out company-wide, onboarding the team, and making design something any of us can pick up, not just the designers.

I built the testing practice the frontend runs on, taking coverage from 0% to roughly 80% across components, pages, stores, and composables by leading Jest adoption and then the migration to Vitest. On top of that I built a suite of frontend code-review skills, composed into one larger review skill that enforces our team's standards, patterns, and preferences automatically; it saves 15 to 30 minutes of review on every pull request across nine contributors, lets low-risk changes skip human review entirely, and makes the whole team more confident shipping frontend code.

I also drove the early AI adoption that turned into real, shipped features, including the AI module builder inside PEARS that drafts a data tool from a plain-English description.

On my own time, I build AI products and the agent systems that run them. An eight-phase content-orchestration harness that runs a real content business. A full-stack RAG assistant that helps people navigate immigration. Agentic apps, RAG tools, and a lot of experiments in maximizing what one person can ship with AI.

My roots are in data science: I started as a full-stack engineer and data scientist, which is why I'm as comfortable with a model and a pipeline as I am with a design system.

What I want next: to work as a product engineer (with a pull toward product management) on a team building AI products people actually use.
